Ashton Eaton Ties The Knot

Ladies, sorry but Ashton Eaton is off the market. He recently tied the knot with his long time girlfriend and fellow olympic athlete and Candaian beauty, Briane Theisen. The two met when he was a freshman in charge of meeting with potential recruits. Brianne was a senior in high school at the time. Needless to say, the two struck up a conversation and the rest as they say is history.  To learn more about their amazing love story read this article. Remember Linsanity? Welcome to Cainsanity. The 17 year old burst onto the scene broke the American High School Girls Record in the 1500m with a 4:11.01. In May 2013 she ran the 1500 metres in 4:04.62, shattering her own high school record from the previous year. She will be the youngest to ever compete for the United States at the World Championships.

Her name reminds you of a cute little British lady and her bright personality belies her fierce competitive spirit. A junior at track powerhous University of Oregon, Gardner has steadily improved over the years but seems to be peaking just at the right time.  She ran 10.87sec in the 100m to win her semi-final heat at the USA Championships.  In the final she blazed her way to a 10.85sec to set a world lead.

Ukraine's Bohdan Bondarenko will be one to watch in the High Jump competition. This little known star actually had 2 decent attempts at the World Record of 2.46m at the London Anniversary Games just a few weeks ago.  When he competes against olympic medalists Derek Drouin and America's Erik Kynard it is sure to be a competition for the ages.

American Brigetta Barrett will be one to watch at this year's World Championships... and so will here dance moves!  Her bubbly personality seems to come out during competitions where she might show off some of her excitement.  She was a silver medalist in London where she shared her faith and tremendous singing ability at the same time.
